Snow Day = Craft Day

I love snow days, especially Colorado snow days. You know it'll be over soon, the sun will come out, and warm weather is on it's way! Emma took this time indoors to learn the art of needlepoint. She loves it. Her first project was the strawberry. She couldn't do a project like this without trying a dog! I had a chance to craft too. I made an adorable look-a-like doll for Emma. Seems she can't part with it long enough for a picture. I'll try again later!

Pretty Pin Cushions

Remember your wrist corsage at you senior prom. Now you can wear one with style. I love having this on when I sew. It's so practical and darn cute to boot. Sometimes I forget I have it on and wear it out of the house.

Great Little Cards

I love making cards. Here is a small sampling of some that I've finished. It's fun to knit up smaller versions of stitches, the fabric cards are a great way to use up small bits of my stash and try new and different color combinations. My favorites out of this bunch are the sweater and the basket weave stitch cards.
